Demolition and re-build to Shell Pine
The project comprised the demolition of the existing canopy, removal of all existing fuel tanks, removal of contaminated soils, renewed pipework, new forecourt and a shop refurbishment.
The value of the project was approximately £470,000
Site complications included:
• Careful working around third party services e.g. 300mm gas main and 250mm foul water supply running directly through the centre of the site
• The placing of 2 number 3m diameter 70,000 ltr tanks within close proximity of the 2 storey building.
