Demolition, remediation and construction of a new store and PFS in Sandy, Bedfordshire
The works comprised the demolition of a Little Chef restaurant and Texaco service station, followed by a completely new petroleum filling station & large convenience store.
The value of the project was approximately £1,100,000
Site complications included:
• Poor ground conditions and a high water level - this required 2 major cofferdams which Toureen Mangan was able to do in-house avoiding delays to the programme.
• There was also considerable contamination which Toureen Mangan remediated & screened to deliver a substantial saving to the client.
