Edvinas Baltaragis ran a 5km charity run in aid of Trees for Cities on 20th September 2008.
Trees for Cities is an independent charity working to improve the environment in urban areas by involving local people in community tree planting, training and landscaping projects. All our community greening projects are supported by extensive community consultation and involvement programmes that incorporate local residents, schools and community groups. As well as educating local people about our projects, in London we also run a series of horticulture, arboriculture and woodland management courses specialising in developing and up-skilling the long-term unemployed.
Eddie finished 109 out of 2000+ runners and completed the run in 22 minutes 9 seconds.
