On 15th July 2009, Toureen Mangan played in a 5 a-side football tournament at Waingels College, Reading organized by Willmott Dixon’s ‘Waingels’ Site Team and the Waingels College PE Department.
Sixteen teams took part in the tournament, including teams from Willmott Dixon, Wokingham Borough Council and Waingels College. Each team donated £150 to enter with all proceeds going towards the PE department at Waingels College.
Our boys battled through the pouring rain to win 5 out of the 6 games played, defeating Willmott Dixon 4-1 in the process.
All supporters and players attended a BBQ after the tournament for a post match analysis, organized by Waingels College.
A rematch is planned for 2010 where Toureen will play to defend their winners title.
