Toureen Mangan have started work on the Chobham Academy on the Athlete's Village
Toureen Mangan have today started work on the Chobham Academy under main contractor BAM.
The site is part of the Olympic Development and will eventually be a fully functioning school for Stratford City.
The project includes groundworks and RC frame construction. The groundworks package includes the installation of 1000 linear metres of 900mm diameter Earth Tubes at a maximum depth of 3m to heat and cool the building. The RC frame construction requires full height edge protection and a fair faced exposed finish.
